Bingo? Costumes? Oh, this has the makings of a Thursday night from pre-coronavirus times. The Y in Central Maryland’s camp program is hosting three rounds of live bingo tonight at 7 p.m. on Facebook. Baltimore County Public Library hosts preschool story time on Fridays at 10 a.m. registration is required and can be done right here. Some Good News Graduation
Actor John Krasinski has been captivating the stay-at-home crowd with his crowdsourced Friday night program, Some Good News, which can be found on YouTube. This week’s promises to be a graduation ceremony in honor of all those missing their own this year. He has spent the week putting out a national call for speeches and valedictorians. It starts at 8 p.m. and can be found here.

Virtual Kinetic Sculpture Race
Today is the day the American Visionary Art Museum was slated to host the 22nd annual Kinetic Sculpture Race, an annual tradition of team work and weird stuff. The race will go on, but virtually and this year feature a blessing of the feet. Yes, feet. Please wear clean socks for this one (you’ve been warned), and register ahead of time. The action starts at 11 a.m.

Any-Day Fun
Make a City
International architecture firm Foster+Partners has created downloadable templates for kids to use to create their own city. Paper or cardstock, scissors, glue and a few toothpicks are all that’s needed to build this metropolis. Instructions show children where to cut and where to fold. Perfect! Let’s get to building.
