Named for the large mansion, Perry Hall, is a town with a rich history that is older than the United States itself. The mansion is the largest free standing building in Baltimore County and one of the few remaining colonial homes still standing in America. Located in Northeast Baltimore County, it has convenient access to downtown Baltimore via Interstate 95, and its northeastern neighbors Honeygo and White Marsh often overlap, sharing a zip code and area resources.
Parks, Playgrounds and More
Perry Hall and the surrounding area boast several great parks filled with history, adventure and lots of space to run. Recently renovated with the help of more than 4,000 local volunteers, Angel Park (Honeygo) features a playground designed for accessibility for all children and an amphitheater for performances. Indian Rock Park (Perry Hall) has gentle hiking trails, family friendly picnic areas and lots of open space for play all located on 16.5 acres. The Honeygo Run Regional Park (Perry Hall), Gunpowder Falls State Park hiking area (Carney – right outside of Perry Hall) and Cowenton Ridge Park (Perry Hall) are other local parks to consider.
Shop and Celebrate
The AVENUE in nearby White Marsh has events all year long. Among them is The AVENUE LIVE concert series, which runs every Friday and Saturday from June to August. Families can also check out Makers of Maryland, hosted by the My Sunday Market, a street festival the second Sunday every month from May to October.
