It may be the Spring Break time of year, but that doesn’t mean your kids have to stop learning. Port Discovery Children’s Museum’s STEM in Spring event boasts numerous hands-on activities guaranteed to get your kids interested in science, technology, engineering and math. The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra presents family concert “Peter and the Wolf” on Saturday at 11 a.m. A great way to introduce your children to classical music through the well-known fairy tale. There’s also interactive pre-concert activities starting at 9:45 a.m. Tickets: $15-20

Treat that tween/teenager in your life with tickets to the all-ages concert of Charlie Puth, the breakout pop singer, at Rams Head Live. Sunday

Children and young adult author Jack Gantos, known for books like Dead End in Norvelt and the Rotten Ralph series, will be available for a Meet the Author event at The Ivy Bookshop at 1 p.m. Sunday. This is a perfect opportunity to get this National Book Award and Newberry Honor-winning author to sign your kids’ favorite of his many books. This week’s Free Family Sunday at the Baltimore Museum of Art is inspired by French artist Henri Matisse. Every Sunday features hands-on activities to unleash the creativity of your kids.
