Family Fun at Your Library: Video Game Night

Aug. 6, 6:30-8 p.m.

The Elkridge Branch of  Howard County Library System invites parents and kids to come together and play video games that are suitable for the entire family.

Sensory-Friendly Sunday at Robinson Nature Center

Aug. 10 , 10:30 a.m.-noon

Howard County Recreation and Parks is holding events for kids, teens and adults with sensory-processing issues, autism or other developmental disabilities, including Sunday at Columbia’s Robinson Nature Center; $5 for adults and $3 for children older than 3.

Bel Air Downtown Alliance’s Summer Movie Nights

Aug. 15, 7:15-9:30 p.m.

The Bel Air Downtown Alliance is showing “Inside Out 2” this month as part of
its summer series screening free, family-friendly movies
in Shamrock Park. Each night has pre-show entertainment, which will be announced leading up to the event.

Carroll County Kidz’ Funfest!

Aug. 23, 11 a.m.-3 p.m.

Carroll County Recreation and Parks is coordinating with the Carroll County Farm Museum in Westminster to provide a fun family event including yard games, farm pet experiences, face painting, a children’s activity tent, crafts, food and more.

Baltimore Orioles vs The Athletics

The Orioles are hosting the Athletics for a promotional game, giving away an Adam Jones Orioles Hall of Fame Bobblehead to the first 20,000 fans and holding a Hall of Fame induction ceremony for Jones’ former outfielder Joe Orsulak and longtime broadcaster Tom Davis.

Mess Fest
