Miracle on 34th Street

700 W. 34th St. | Baltimore – Hampden | Nov. 30–Jan. 1

The lights switch on at 6 p.m. Nov. 29 for this hometown tradition that runs through New Year’s Eve. The famous Baltimore neighborhood block is a must-see for its quirky and creative holiday displays across more than two dozen row homes. facebook.com/Miracleon34thSt

Cascade Lights at Coppermine Cascade Park

2844 Snydersburg Road | Hampstead | Weekends from Nov. 28–Dec. 23

This half-mile walking trail of dazzling trees and light displays has a choreographed light show. Theme nights include Frozen, Magic, Karaoke, Sip & Stroll, Pup Strut and more. Santa arrives on a firetruck Nov. 28 at 5:30pm to launch the event, which also features a decorated playground, holiday movies, train rides, snowball fights, axe throwing (ages 18 and older) and photo ops. gocoppermine.com/coppermine/cascadelights

Middle River Lighted Boat Parade

23-199 W. Kingston Park Lane (Kingston Park) or 6 Beech Drive (Wilson Point Park) | Middle River

Starting in 2003, this traditional parade has drawn about 100 boats and can be viewed from participating waterfront restaurants as well as from Kingston Park and Wilson Point. nickhock.com/boatparade

Charm City Lights

Druid Hill Park – Baltimore | Nov. 29, 2025–Jan. 1, 2026

Courtesy of Baltimore City Department of Recreation and Parks, this attraction features a 1-mile stretch of more than 250,000 holiday lights, custom-animated displays and a massive Christmas tree. Monument Lighting at Mount Vernon Place

699 N. Charles and Monument streets | Baltimore | 5-8 p.m. Dec. 4

This popular December tradition sets the historical landmark Washington Monument aglow with thousands of LED lights. Browse the wares of local vendors and hear live music until city dignitaries cue the lights and follow it up with festive fireworks at 8pm. mountvernonplace.org 

Maryland Holiday Light Spectacular

Maryland State Fairgrounds, 2200 York Road | Timonium | 5:30-10 p.m. Dec. 5-28

More than a million lights adorn a walking trail with Maryland-themed decorations and installations like snow globes and holiday trees. Self-guided tours generally take 45 minutes to 90 minutes. Winter Lights at the Observatory

The cherished Baltimore landmark of the Patterson Park Pagoda will be dressed to impress in holiday lights to kick off the season. Enjoy a food and gift market, holiday characters and musical entertainment, culminating in the pagoda lighting ceremony at 6 p.m. pattersonpark.com/winterlights

Perry Hall Lighted Holiday Jeep Crawl

4300 Ebenezer Road |  Parkville

5-6:3- p.m. Dec. 13

In its fifth year, this unique lighted parade will feature up to 100 illuminated Jeeps cruising through Parkville from Perry Hall Middle School. Donations for Toys for Tots will be collected.
