You might be busy planning for winter activities, but the start of Summer is coming up faster than you might imagine! Registration season for camp is already well underway!
Summer at Friends offers a variety of programming for ages 4 to 13. Programs include daily swimming, lunch and snack, and all of the amenities that Friends School of Baltimore’s 35 acre campus has to offer! Our 2026 Camp season runs from June 15 to August 7.
“We had an extraordinary amount of registrations pour in when we opened for the season …” says Steve Cusick, who is the director at Summer at Friends. “Our group sizes are intentionally small, so programs tend to fill quickly. The good news is, if you haven’t signed up yet we still have spaces in some really awesome camp programs.”
Junior Camp is the perfect fit for ages 4 and 5, featuring daily art, music, science, swimming, special activities and more, all in the comfort of the Pre-Primary building, designed just for young kids! Limited spaces are available in the long day program, which offers a fun-filled camp experience from 8:30 am – 5:15 pm!
Senior Camp is an amazing adventure for ages 10 to 13, featuring daily art, science, tennis, activity, and plenty of time for socializing and friendship! Spaces are available in the regular program, which dismisses at 3:30, and the long day program!
Sports Camp is designed for aspiring athletes ages 7 to 11. It includes a mix of instruction and game play in a variety of sports and skills including basketball, baseball, flag football, and soccer. Sports camp takes advantage of an expansive turf field, baseball diamond, tennis courts, and air conditioned gymnasium, all of which are located on campus. Limited spaces are available and this program is expected to sell out soon!
A variety of specialized creative technology camps are also available. These programs include a mix of indoor and outdoor activities! Options include:
– Builders and Makers explores creative and fun projects that challenge campers to think about how things work. This camp gives them opportunities to think creatively while building things like bridges, speakers, and model houses.
–Pix & Flix offers campers a chance to dive into the creative world of photography, stop motion animation, and video creation as they learn the fundamentals of photography!
-Tech Tapas, which offers the opportunity for 7 to 10-year-olds to explore a variety of creative activities such as digital art and audio recording in a self-paced environment. Spaces are available in Session A only!
