June is Pride month, a month where LGBTQ+ rights, culture and stories are in the spotlight. Pride commemorates the 1969 Stonewall Uprising in Manhattan, a turning point in the history of modern LGBTQ+ rights. Celebrating Pride as a family is important, both to show support for friends and community members and to make sure the people in our lives who might not be ready to come out know they’ll be welcome and loved when they do. Here are some local, family-centric Pride events so you and your family can celebrate as a community!
