This fun autumn tradition starts in the pasture. Hay is usually harvested in the summer months and dried into fall. The hay is then stored and used to feed livestock through the winter months when grazing becomes challenging or impossible because of snow and scarcity—but it also makes for comfortable seating for hayrides!
