The Towson Library’s beloved book sale is back for the 2025 season. From now through Saturday, visitors will be able to purchase old books from the Towson Branch of the Baltimore County Public Library at an affordable price point.

Books will be available at a sale range of $1 to $5 Friday, with a $5-per-foot bulk sale Saturday, April 12, to close out the event. A large selection of children’s books will be available.

The event will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Foot traffic at the sale is expected to be heavy, so thrifty readers will want to come early to browse the library’s selection of books for sale.

The Friends of the Towson Library Book Sale is held every year to raise money for library programming. Last year’s sale raised $21,000, setting a new record and helping to fund building improvements like new paint and powered tables, as well as programs like the Black Business Fair, Baby Craft Time and Teen Chill Time.
