While Valentine’s Day is often associated with romantic love, the holiday can be a great experience for families, too. Take time this Valentine’s Day to talk about love as a family, and the many ways we show we love to each other.

Making and gifting candy on Valentine’s Day has been a tradition for more than 200 years. Now, you can make your own customized box of Valentine’s Day candies for your family members. For $55, Schola will have all the supplies you need to wrap up a delicious box of chocolatey treats to surprise your kids and loved ones! To make a kid-friendly box, skip the rum and bourbon flavors in favor of white and dark chocolate, bacon pecan pralines and chocolate sour cream swirl fudge. This Valentine’s workshop starts at 6 p.m. and ends at 8:30 p.m. Teens can work with adults, but the course is not recommended for teens alone. Space is limited.

The Enoch Pratt Free Library invites teens to make personalized Valentine’s Day cards with cricuts, laptops, scissors and more at this Valentine’s Day card-making workshop.
