Inviting viewers to experience these ferocious sea creatures from just inches away, the National Aquarium allows the curious to participate in activities such as fish feeding in Blacktip Reef on its Shark Behind-the-Scenes Tour. Visitors can “learn about these incredible predators of the deep” from a “behind the scenes location,” according to the tour description. Maryland Auto Show at Baltimore Convention Center | 1 W Pratt St, Baltimore, MD 21201
According to its website, “The Maryland Auto Show, held annually at the Baltimore Convention Center, has something for everyone that’s ever set foot in a vehicle.” Ranging from the fastest machines to intricately designed luxury-on-wheels, the show enables visitors to witness “the latest and greatest that automotive has to offer.” The show runs Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Dolphin Tour at the National Aquarium | 501 E Pratt St, Baltimore, MD 21202
Dolphins are known as one of the most intelligent sea creatures. Have you ever wondered how they are trained? Along with a chance to visit the staff-only area to get an up-close look at the dolphins, the Dolphin Tour at the National Aquarium allows visitors to stop by the food prep kitchen for a quick look. Book your tour online starting June 12 and plan to arrive 15 minutes in advance of start time.

Technical as creating a building plan may sound, architecture is a work of intricate art. Join architecture enthusiasts to learn more about the art behind the buildings we see at Architectural Appeal, a month and a half display of architectural exhibits from June 15 through July 28. Opening day includes a reception from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. with light fair, along with a talk by visiting artists.

Does your child give you a hard time when you ask them to finish eating the stack of vegetables on their plate? If the answer is yes, bring them to The Children’s Veg Festival at Middle Branch Fitness and Wellness Center on June 15 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., where vegetables—along with all things environmental and ecological—are front and center in a day-long celebration! The motivation for creating the festival was so that “children and families within the community could have a safe place to have and explore healthy, plant-based food options and lifestyle choices,” according to its vision statement.
