Sydney’s Ice Creams | 3432 Belair Rd, Baltimore, MD 21213

Sydney’s Ice Creams demonstrates how the lines between passion and business ideas are not as blurred as they might seem to be, offering a wide variety of traditional and somewhat unexpected flavors such as Peaches ‘n’ Biscuits, Butter Pecan and Banana Pudding. Created by Baltimore resident Sydney Newton during the pandemic, this unique venture was successful in not only occupying the creativity and imagination of her children, but also in helping Sydney and her family thrive and stay sane during trying times.

Sydney’s Ice Creams is open from Wednesday through Saturday from noon to 8:30 p.m., and from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.

Cajou Creamery | 411 N Howard St, Baltimore, MD 21201

You might have heard of plant-based burgers and plant-based chicken, but have you ever heard of plant-based ice cream? Offering inventive flavors such as Sweet Potato, Baklava and Cortadito, Cajou Creamery presents ice cream as an all-accepting dessert, embracing—and enriching—every ingredient that comes its way. Aiming to make ice cream healthy and guilt-free, while bringing the world on a spoon to its customers, the creamery also boasts seven globally inspired flavors using healthy ingredients such as organic wild blueberries, pistachios, raw cacao and sweet potatoes.

Cajou Creamy is open Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m., and from noon to 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Tia’s Italian Ice | 851 W 36th St, Baltimore, MD 21211

Tia’s Italian Ice brings the sunset to life with an amalgamation of banana, pina and tangerine, and paints a picture of Jamaica with grape, pineapple and pistachio. 

The shop is open Tuesday through Friday from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m., from noon to 9 p.m. Saturday, from noon to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday.

Moo Moo Cows | 926 Light St., Suite 1, Baltimore, MD 21230

True to the sound of its name, Moo Moo Cows Ice Cream emerges from the delighted Moo Moo of a happy cow! Taharka Brothers Ice Cream| 400 W Lexington St., Baltimore, MD 21201
