What’s the hardest part about juggling parenthood and your career?
The hardest part is time management. I work very hard to be connected and present in Noelle’s life. I realized how fast she was growing and had to draw a line between parenthood and my career.
What makes trying to balance both easier?
My faith makes life easier. I realized early in life the power of prayer and saw firsthand how a situation can turn from bad to good in my favor just by praying.
What do you love about being a parent?
What I love most is my child’s laughter and to know I am instrumental in the person she would ultimately become.
What’s your biggest parenting fail?
My biggest parenting fail is hovering over my children and not allowing the older children to learn from their mistakes. As a mother, I had to realize I had to learn the difference between guiding them and hindering them.
What’s the one thing you hope your children learn from you and your career?
I hope my children learn that they can be rewarded and promoted by treating people with kindness and working hard.
What’s your family’s favorite holiday tradition?
My family’s favorite holiday tradition is exchanging one present on Christmas Eve. That tradition serves as the kickoff to a beautiful Christmas day.
