Everyone has heard it takes a village to raise a child, but what about a Christmas Village? Baltimore’s Christmas Village is back at the harbor and the season is in full swing with special themed weekends.
This weekend, Dec. 9 and 10, is the Christmas Village’s “Family Weekend,” featuring classic family games like potato sack races, cornhole and egg & spoon races.
Other attractions this weekend include the carousel and a performance by the White Marsh Ballet Academy. The festive reindeer and horse carousel is open to visitors of all ages, but children under 42 inches (or 3 feet, 5 inches) will need to be accompanied by an adult. The ballet will take place at 1 p.m. in the tent.
Don’t forget to dress your wintery best because Mascot Gingy, the soon-to-be 10-year-old Gingerbread Man, will be available for photos!
