Explore the history of stained glass and stained glass as a method of storytelling. We also experiment with three great ways to create stained glass window art at home. Follow a Port Discovery museum educator as stories unfold before your eyes. You may come to observe, make the stained glass creations along with us or save your gathered materials for after the virtual presentation! Materials to gather if desired: colored tissue paper and tape or clear contact paper, painter’s tape or masking tape, washable window markers or paint, cellophane or cling wrap, Sharpie markers and window space. A full material and process PDF is available for registering participants. Registration closes one hour before the start of the program. A valid email address is needed at registration to send a Zoom link to the program 30 minutes before scheduled start.
Age Group: Elementary School Age (6 to 11 years), Teen
Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.
