Date(s) - Monday, July 22, 2019

Baltimore Improv Group

Are your kids funnier than you are? Do they need a place to hone their skills and focus their comedic energy? Well, there’s no better time than the summer to let your kids thoroughly explore comedy and theater arts! In BIG’s Summer Improv Camp, kids (ages 8-12 years) will not only grow their talent as performers, but will also build confidence through improved speaking and listening skills. In this five-day camp, kids will learn how to build hilarious scenes through cooperation and imagination, play goofy improv games through agreement and creativity, and develop stage presence through finding their own voice. While there will be plenty of whole-group instruction, students will also work in smaller cohorts to focus on specific, more age-appropriate skills with some of BIG’s best youth teaching artists. The week will culminate in a live, no-script performance for family and friends! Space will be limited, so if you’re interested, don’t delay! *No previous experience in improv or theater required!

In Baltimore Improv Group’s 2019 Summer Day Camp, kids from ages 8-12 years learn about acting and comedy, and have fun along the way!
