Fell’s Point Oyster Fest

Oyster season is nearly here, and this popular event is the best way to get your fill of them! In addition to seafood to sample, there will also be live music, a craft fair and activities for kids at this weekend of food and fun. Proceeds support the Oyster Recovery Partnership, which works to preserve the Chesapeake Bay’s oyster population.

Dragon Boat Races

Sept. 13, 8 a.m.-3 p.m.

West Shore Park | 501 Light St., Baltimore, MD 21230

See a truly unique sport as teams of rowers race through the Inner Harbor on elaborately-decorated dragon boats! There will also be plenty of live entertainment to enjoy, including dragon dancers. Attendees will also help support a good cause, as proceeds benefit Catholic Charities.

Pint-sized adventurers can go on a journey through medieval times at this fun and interactive museum event. Embark on a quest through the Dragon’s Lair, go on a scavenger hunt throughout the museum, make your own armor out of cardboard and more in this hands-on experience for little ones.
