At Camp Ami, your child will receive instructional swim and delight in Israeli culture, arts and crafts, singing and dancing, games, stories, science activities, cooking and water play. All activities are designed to enhance gross motor skills and sensory experience as well as increase your child’s independence and confidence.

Designed for boys entering Yeshiva day schools, we start our day with davening and learning before spreading our wings into sports, science, swimming, arts and crafts, day trips, and more.

Camp will run Monday – Thursday from 9am-12pm. Lunch is not included. Pre and after-care are available. Pre-camp care runs from 8am-9am. After-camp care runs from 12pm-1pm.
Each camper will receive a camp tee shirt.
Work with the Johns Hopkins Men’s Basketball coaching staff in a personalized setting focused on developing age appropriate skills that will allow for a great upcoming season. Camp will develop each individual using a skill progression- each camper will leave with a better understanding of the fundamentals and details that are key in reaching the camper’s full potential. Ball handling, shooting, passing and offensive concepts will be touched upon daily. The camp will build up to game play in small sided and 5 on 5 settings.

NEW AND REIMAGINED is a great way to describe the upcoming Summer at Jemicy, where there will be something for everyone from first grade to twelfth. Minimizing summer learning loss by maintaining/reinforcing academic skills is the primary goal of the theme-based LOWER SCHOOL CAMP morning program for grades 1-5. Afternoons will be comprised of creative, fun-filled activities and field trip adventures. The MIDDLE SCHOOL PROGRAM (grades 6-8) offers a medley of courses that hone writing, reading, and math skills, and/or focus on visual arts, theatre, science, engineering, and more. UPPER SCHOOL MASTER CLASSES (grades 9–12) include boot camps to give students a jump on college essays and common applications, teach how to navigate the visual arts college process, or prepare for a college or general theatre audition. Other courses offered refine writing and math skills, boost community service hours, and teach stunts actors performed on stage.

Your budding artist will be guided by Baltimore’s top artists and arts organizations who will help them enhance their skills and explore new horizons.

One of the best Karate Camps in the region is housed right inside the JCC: CSA Karate Camp. Your child will earn belts while learning martial arts skills that will improve awareness, control, and confidence while building character. They will also enjoy traditional camp activities such as swimming, art and crafts, fitness fun, games, and much more!

Young campers learn basic skills using the Quick Start method utilizing reduced-sized courts, smaller racquets and special balls.

Novice and advanced players have fun while increasing their skills in our nurturing camp environment.

General outdoor sports camp where campers are exposed to different sports and games every day.

Older campers spend days developing skills and conditioning related to the sport, learning game rules and participating in different game scenarios.

Offerings include Space & Rocketry and Earth, Wind, & Fire with the Science Guys of Baltimore, our Young Innovators program at the Krieger Schechter Day School, LEGO Camp with Club SciKidz and so much more!

Teens have fun connecting with other Jewish middle-schoolers while building leadership skills, and earning community service hours. Mornings are spent in one of the J’s summer camps. Teens help plan camp activities. Afternoons are spent in electives, workshops and special events.

KLAL is an exciting summer program focused on recreational and vocational activities. It is a self-contained camp for young adults with learning, developmental, social, emotional, and physical disabilities. At KLAL, we treat young adults as unique individuals and work to help each camper learn new skills, experience new challenges, and grow both functionally and personally in a supportive and caring environment. In addition to their daily activities, participants will engage in community service projects, and receive specialized training in social, functional, and vocational skills.

Our Inclusion Program is designed for campers with a range of learning, developmental, social, emotional, and physical disabilities. Campers join bunks with their typical peers and participate in all camp activities, including instructional and recreational swim. They are paired on a 1:1 or 2:1 basis with specially-trained staff, who are overseen by our Special Needs department. Our Inclusion Program is available in all of our J Camps.

This leadership development program is designed to empower teens by offering new responsibilities, challenges, and adventures including working with younger campers, team building, and amazing off-site field trips each session.

Bunked in the J Early Childhood wing, our youngest J Day campers have a scaled-back version of the fun-filled J Day Camp program designed to meet your child where they are now. In our highly supervised setting, your campers will be safe, happy, and having fun throughout the day.

Noah’s Ark is all about discovery. Camper’s will explore the J’s playgrounds and nature trails; create music and art; and make fun healthy snacks. Noah’s Ark will also get your child into the water and swimming by the end of the summer.

Programs offer eligible students the chance to engage in challenging academic work in the company of peers that share their exceptional abilities.

Does your SUPERHERO have what it takes to be a SUPER CEO? JA SUPER Summer Camp immerses youth ages 9-12 in our acclaimed, one-of-a-kind JA BizTown experience. They’ll operate their very own business, manage a bank account, use a debit card, and get their dream job–like radio DJ, scientist, CEO and more. As they run this simulated city, they’ll have the opportunity to be creative, collaborate with campers and mentors, and learn skills that will last a lifetime.

Held within the simulated city space of JA BizTown comprised of City Hall, a bank, radio station, television station, business and insurance office, newspaper office, cafe, distribution center, investment office, science lab and retail shops.

Great for children who have visited JA BizTown and newcomers alike, the JA SUPER Summer Camp offers an in-depth experience running JA BizTown, while focusing on additional activities around career exploration and entrepreneurship. They also will have the opportunity to participate in Fit N Fun fitness activities and challenges in conjunction with JA’s partnership with The Y in Central Maryland.
