Ghosts of Miners Past
Oregon Ridge was once an active mining town. On this spooky hike, you will encounter unsettled souls who still roam the ridge 150 years later. Hikes every 10 minutes. Tickets: $10 for non-members, $5 for members. 7:30 p.m. at Oregon Ridge Nature Center in Cockeysville.
Harry Potter Marathon at The Senator
It’s the 15th anniversary of the first Harry Potter movie and that means we’re all in need of a refresher. Marathon time! The Senator has lovingly obliged, giving you four movies this weekend, and four the following. Tickets: $10 for evening films, $7 for matinees. Oct. 21-22 and Oct. 28-29 at The Senator Theatre.

9th Annual Harbor Harvest
Enjoy this free kids’ festival with activities like the IKEA Urban Pumpkin Patch, petting zoo, face painting, pumpkin decorating, pony rides, fall crafts, food trucks and live entertainment. Free. 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at West Shore Park in the Inner Harbor.
Zombie Horde Scavenger Hunt
Try to escape zombies and ghosts as you collect items at stations along the trail. As a bonus, there’s candy for all participants and prizes for the quickest “survivor.” Bring a flashlight and fast shoes! Tickets: $10, registration required. 7-9 p.m. at Lake Roland.
Brick Fest LEGO Experience
When you’re not stepping on stray ones, LEGOs are one of the best toys for active imaginations. Take your family’s LEGO game to the next level at Brick Fest where you’ll be impressed by giant LEGO creations, make some of your own and enjoy activities like mini golf, LEGO video games and collaborative building. Doors Open Baltimore
Take advantage of free admission to 52 of Baltimore’s coolest spaces, from museums and memorials to apartment complexes and brewhouses. Free. 10 a.m.-4 p.m. throughout the city.

Matisse/Diebenkorn Exhibit at the BMA
The special exhibition Matisse/ Diebenkorn ticketed show highlights the similarities between the two artists’ work, particularly Matisse’s influence on Diebenkorn, in their brief period as contemporaries in the early 20th century. Celebrate the exhibit’s opening with the Sunday party, featuring crafts, speakers, music, tours, family activities and more. Tickets: $10-$17. 12-5 p.m. at the Baltimore Museum of Art.
