Rudolph in 4-D
Experience the red-nosed reindeer and his pals like you’ve never seen them before as the National Aquarium presents “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer 4-D.”
Nov. 10 – Jan. 1. $5 with the cost of Aquarium admission. 

Maryland Irish Festival
Who says celebrating the Old Sod should be reserved for March 17? Enjoy all things Irish at the annual Maryland Irish Festival, presented by Irish Charities of Maryland. The weekend-long event promises ceolagus craic (music and fun), with plenty of live music from traditional fiddle to Celtic rock, as well as vendors peddling green and orange wares and, of course, plenty of bangers and mash.

Aquarium Sleepover Adventure
Spend the night at the aquarium and get a firsthand look at how the animals are cared for and what they are like at night. This is also a great chance to experience the aquarium minus the crowds. Participants must be at least 8.

World’s Largest Gingerbread Display
The name says it all! Come see the biggest gingerbread city in the world at Gingerbread Lane.

Spirited Away Harvest Festival
Enjoy a petting zoo, pumpkin and face painting, a showing of Miyazaki’s “Spirited Away” and more!

Music Box: Farm Animals
A quintet of Baltimore Symphony Orchestra musicians will provide a half-hour concert of farm animal songs for tykes ages 6 months-3. Dancing and singing along are encouraged.

Zoo Snooze
Spend the night at Penguin Coast and learn about its inhabitants, plus the zoo’s polar bears and other nocturnal animals. Continental breakfast is served in the morning. The sleepover is recommended for children ages 6 and up.

Annie
It’s a hard-knock life, but charming little Annie doesn’t let it get her down! See the Charm City Players’ fun take on the classic in celebration of its 40th anniversary.

Zoo Zoom
Run wild at The Maryland Zoo’s annual Zoo Zoom race and fun run. The full course winds through the zoo, giving participants a chance to catch a quick glimpse of its inhabitants. But runners and walkers get free all-day admission, too. Proceeds benefit the zoo itself, so it’s an all-around perfect family outing.
