Baltimore Clayworks To Host Secondhand Fundraiser

Baltimore Clayworks, a local arts organization, is hosting a three-day fundraiser June 14 to 16 to support its programs and community efforts—which include classes and workshops for both kids and adults.

The fundraiser, the “Seconds Sale” features secondhand pottery for sale at affordable prices. The three-day sale and celebration will include activities, food and the chance to meet and mingle with local artists.

Day one, the preview party, will take place from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. June 14. Admission to for the preview party is $40 online or $45 at the door. The following two days of festivities are free and open to the public. Day two will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and day three will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. All events will be hosted at Baltimore Clayworks.

Refreshments will be provided by Chef Joseph of Scratch Plate Kitchen and Our Time Kitchen at the preview party. Additionally, beer will be available from Union Craft Brewing and wine will be available from Broody Vineyards.

For families looking to renew their space with new-to-you pottery picks or simply support a local arts organization, Baltimore Clayworks will be collecting cleaned and boxed “seconds” through July 8. The organization also welcomes volunteers.
