Hans Zimmer Live

Feb. 7, 8 p.m.

Music legend Hans Zimmer has added five more shows to his Hans Zimmer Live 2024 North American fall tour, including a stop in Baltimore. Kids may recognize the score from movies like “The Lion King (1994)” and “Pirates of the Caribbean.” The extra shows give the community a chance to see the musician and his famous works in a brand new live production.

Astro Adventure

Feb. 8, noon – 4 p.m.

The Maryland Science Center is hosting a day of space exploration where kids can train like an astronaut, help mission control land a craft on another planet, learn how astronauts use color to illustrate the universe and more.

Happy New Year, Trees

Tu BiShvat is the Jewish New Year celebration of trees encourages connection with nature, and the Howard County Conservancy is hosting a pre- Tu BiShvat celebration with a tree-themed activity and a hike on their trails.
