Explore the reopened Port Discovery Children’s Museum at reduced admission prices. Advance tickets and reservations are required. Guests are limited to a total of four adults and four children per reservation. Admission is $2 per person (members and children younger than age 1 enter for free).

Enjoy the soft glow of lanterns on the fire engines inside the museum and take a socially distanced stroll through 250 years of firefighting history. Face masks are required; come in costume and receive half-price admission (free for members). Adults: $15; children 2-18: $7; children younger than 2: free; seniors and firefighters: $13.

Pumpkin Patch Express

Take a Halloween-decorated train ride out to the B&O’s pumpkin patch. Kids can choose their child’s-size pumpkin and enjoy pumpkin decorating, carnival games and more as part of the event festivities. Visit the B&O Railroad Museum’s website to see all train ride times. Members: $14 per child (includes admission, pumpkin, train ride and fall festivities); free for accompanying adult | Nonmembers: $28 per child (includes admission, pumpkin, train ride and fall festivities); $23 per accompanying adult.

Trick-or-Treat (Pick Up) at the Square
Saturday, Oct. 24, noon to 3 p.m.
Pick up a pumpkin and a goody bag full of treats during this Halloween trick-or-treat pickup event courtesy of Belvedere Square and presented by ChoiceOne Urgent Care. Submit your scary costumes and cool carved pumpkin designs from Oct. 24 to 28, then vote for your favorite costumes and decorated pumpkins as part of the online costume and pumpkin decorating contest Oct. 29 to 31.

ZooBooo! Presented by Chase
Friday, Oct. 30, 4 p.m.
The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore presents a socially distanced safe trick-or-treating experience for children this year. Timed tickets are required to enter the Zoo. Face masks are required. The event is free with Zoo admission. Adults: $22; children 2-11: $18; seniors 65 and older: $19; Zoo members: free.
