Fun-Filled Festivities

Weber’s Cider Mill Farm is inviting you and the family to a celebration to wave good-bye to summer and hello to fall. Though there won’t be a hayride or Boo Barn this year, there’s still plenty of fun to be had picking apples, seeing the farm animals, listening to live music, and so much more! Saturday and Sunday, Sep. 19 and 20. 9 a.m. – 7 p.m. $8.

 

Pre-School Storytime

Baltimore County Public Library is hosting an interactive virtual story time that will get you and your kids moving through song, play, and engaging stories. Registration is available up until an hour before the start time so make sure to sign up. Friday, Sep. 18. 10 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. Free. Registration required.

 

Kerplunk Art Workshop

Tune-in to your creative side online and form beautiful visual art pieces inspired by the work of Black artists and local Creative Alliance artists. The first twenty families to register will receive a free art pack including all the art supplies you’ll need! Saturday, Sep. 19. 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. Free. Registration Required.

 

Discover the Dinos

Join the paleontologists at Maryland Science Center online as they lead you through spotting and making dinosaur tracks, studying fossils, and starting your own dino-dig. Follow along the adventure on Facebook! Saturday, Sep. 19. 12 p.m. – 4 p.m. Free.

 

Set Sail on Pirate Adventures

Transport yourselves to a ship amid the vast sea, learn some pirate lingo, and experience the love of the sea with your pirate pals at the Baltimore County Public Library online. Set sail to the land of make-believe on an adventure that’ll kick off your Saturday. Saturday, Sep. 19. 10 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. Free. Registration required.

 

Buzz with the Bees

Benjamin Banneker Historical Park & Museum invites the entire family to have some outdoor fun learning about the important role of bees through fun activities and sweet tastings! Soak in the sunshine on a walk through Banneker’s orchard to see the bees in action. Saturday, Sep. 19. 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. $5. Registration required.

 

Spark your Imagination!

The Walters Art Museum has reopened and is offering drop-in art making activities for children. They will be introducing a new project each week for endless fun! Saturday and Sunday, Sep. 19 and 20. 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Free.
