Annapolis Oyster Roast and Sock Burning 
It might not seem like it, but spring is upon us…which means it’s time for the traditional Annapolis Oyster Roast and Sock Burning. During the annual event, Marylanders set fire to their winter socks while reciting the “Ode to Equinox.” There are plenty of less occult-ish things to do, to: live music, Best Oyster Dish tasting contest, shucking contest, kids’ activities and more.

great state.
